Admissions Process
Step One – Come and Visit Cougar Country
We invite all interested families to tour our school campus and meet our lovely teachers, staff, and students! Come see why our students have HEART!
Admissions tours are scheduled by calling the school office at (650) 593-4265, by emailing our School Principal, Dr. Andrea Harville, or by completing the SCHEDULE A TOUR form at the top of the page. We look forward to sharing our IHM Cougar spirit with you!
Step Two – Submit an Application
Parents may contact the school office (650) 593-4265 for an application form or download the forms below:
Return the form to us by mail, or email it to aharville@ihmschoolbelmont.org.
Priority application deadline is February 3, 2025.
Step Three – Admissions Assessment
Your child will complete their Admissions Assessment while our School Principal meets with both parents/guardians to discuss student goals and strengths (if not done so already during the individualized school tour).
Step Four – Acceptance
We email our acceptance letters in February. TK/Kindergarten Registration Fees are due Friday, February 21, 2025 and Grades 1-8 Registration Fees are due Friday, February 28, 2025 for the 2025-26 school year. TK/Kindergarten Round Up 2025
Immaculate Heart of Mary School will begin its TK/Kindergarten Round Up on February 3, 2025! If you are a parent of a prospective Transitional Kindergartner or Kindergartener for the 2025–26 school year, please email Dr. Harville at aharville@ihmschoolbelmont.org to schedule your school tour today and to set up an appointment for your child's TK Early Years Assessment (EYA) for those students entering TK or Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) for those students entering Kindergarten. EYAs and KRAs are being scheduled for February 3 – February 7, 2025. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025. TK students must turn 5 years old by June 2, 2026.
